The WeCar website and application (“WeCar”, “the Platform”, “we”) are published by Roméo Ivaldy, a natural person (company being incorporated).

WeCar is a carpooling matching platform connecting private individuals in Cambodia. WeCar acts solely as a technical intermediary: the Platform connects drivers and passengers wishing to share a journey and its costs.

WeCar is not a carrier, not a transport agency, and not a party to the carpooling arrangement entered into directly between the driver and the passenger(s). WeCar provides no transport service and does not guarantee that any journey takes place. Amounts exchanged are a mere sharing of costs, with no profit for the driver, and do not constitute paid transport.

WeCar does not collect, hold, or transfer any funds. Payment of the shared costs is made directly between users (notably in cash). WeCar is neither a payment institution nor a financial intermediary, and does not act as an escrow agent.

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA (vercel.com).

Application data is stored and processed via Supabase. Other technical providers are involved: LiveKit (audio/video calls), MapTiler (mapping), and OSRM (route calculation).

The “WeCar” brand, logo, design, text, interface, and source code are the property of the publisher or its licensors. Any reproduction or reuse without written authorization is prohibited.

Content published by users (trip listings, reviews, messages, photos) remains their property. By publishing it, the user grants WeCar a license to use it solely for the operation of the service.

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. No data is sold. To exercise your rights, write to hello@wecar-asia.com.

WeCar provides an intermediation service “as is”. The safety, legality, and proper conduct of each journey (insurance, driving licence, vehicle condition, behavior) are the sole responsibility of drivers and passengers. The detailed limitation of liability is set out in the Terms of Service.

This site and the service are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection provisions applicable in the user's country of residence (notably Cambodian law). In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails.
